Only 45 minutes away, the Manti-La Sal National Forest is another of the many recreational opportunities that the area has to offer. Trails, nearly 13,000ft peaks, lakes and roads welcome hikers, mountain bikers, cyclist, cross- and back-country skiers, off-roaders, and fishermen to come up and play. Driving the 60-mile LaSal Mountain Loop Road isn’t too shabby a way to spend the day either.
